Fred Ury to Present CT Bar Institute Seminar on "Practice, Procedure and Protocol in the Connecticut Courts"

Fred S. Ury, an experienced trial lawyer in criminal and civil matters, will present a seminar covering the major portions of the Connecticut Practice Book, including many of the unwritten rules of civil procedure, practices and procedures that continue after the pandemic, how to navigate the courts, and the various local rules of courts.  

The seminar will also cover:

  • The new parts of the practice book
  • Examples of forms and sections of the Practice Book, and
  • How to handle short calendar as well as aspects of civil trial

This course will be helpful for any attorney wishing to learn more about civil procedure and practice in the civil courts of Connecticut, as well as any new lawyer, or lawyers interested in increasing their civil court practice or those who have been away from the courts for a period of time. This seminar is eligible for 5.0 CLE credits in Connecticut and 5.5 CLE credits in NY.
